Makeup for Glasses by Lisa Eldridge

Lisa Eldridge has been my inspiration for makeup for years! I love the way she applies and demonstrates the ways she does for different looks, she is just so elegant to watch! Today I am sharing with you her latest post of doing makeup for glasses wearers. I wear glasses myself and I always always find it so frustrated with how to do my makeup with glasses. I think this post is great for those of you who has the same problem like me. Also I didn’t know that near sighted glasses actually make the eyes look smaller than they should be, no wonder I always feel like I look different with and without glasses. Anyways, hopefully this post solves your problems like mine!

Liquid Sunshine

I really love the shimmering look for summer, especially on sun-kissed skin. This shimmering dry oil from Tom Ford has just the right amount of really fine shimmer that makes the skin looking healthy and glowing. Also the coconuty scent screams summer all day long!

Colour splash

I’m totally in love with these Aqua glow watercolor blush pots from Stila’s new summer collection! The water based texture is so easy to apply, yet the  vibrant colour is very sheer so it is still buildable. Here in the pictures are the three colours from its collection which I think suit with my skin tone.

From top to bottom: Shimmering Lotus, which is a golden peachy colour with fine shimmers. I like to blend it with my bronzer to create that healthy sun-kissed glow on my cheeks. The second one is Water Blossom which is a bubblegum pink with cool undertone. If you want to creat that pinky cheeky look, this colour really pops especially on yellow undertone skin. The bottom one is called Water Lily, which is a rosy coral colour that I think suit with most of the skin tones.

These colours are so pretty and fun to play with! Feel free to leave a message and tell me which is your favourite colour! Have fun!

Parksale treasure hunt

Yesterday we went to Calgary parksale at the central memorial park, and I spotted this beautiful handmade necklace made by the local jewelry designer Marcela Zafra. And what a coincidence, it totally matched up with the floral shirt that I was wearing (you can see from the last post)! How can I not taking this beauty home with me?!
