Get you love (coming soon)

My husband and I are trying to put up a different concept every month to put our spin on fashion and styling. And this month’s concept was all about that fro! To style someone who has that amazing hair has always been on top of my ‘wishlist’ and thanks to Mary (@maryyohannes), a beautiful person inside out, you fulfilled my dream!

This is a sneak peek video that was edited by my talented friend Kyle (@capture.passion). I can’t wait to share with you the final edit of the video and the photos that were shot by my husband @asim_overstands.

(Escape) to the Mountains

When packing for winter vacations, items that I can easily layer up and keep me warm are my go-to essentials. The faux fur hat has become one of my favourite accessories for the season. It is not only keeping me cozy, but also a chic statement piece for the outfit! A pair of warm gloves are must-have too – I prefer mittens because they are ring-friendly. Combat boots are easily to be dressed up and down – wear them over skinny jeans, I am good to go everywhere during the day; pair the boots with a shift dress for a night out, they will make the whole look more playful and cool. A poncho is this season’s most seen and must-have item and they are very wearable too – throw it over a coat or jacket to add a chic layer of warmth, or just simply use it as a blanket to cozy up during chilly nights. ❤

Faux fur hat, Zara; Pattern mittens, Anna Sui; Combat leather boots, Chanel; Wool poncho, Burberry Prorsum.

Black Friday

Did you go treasure hunting on Black Friday yesterday? Now that I am 7 months pregnant, I found shopping during  big sales days like that rather tiring and frustrating than enjoyable. But luckily I spotted some of my favourite stuff with very good deals! ❤

Faux Fur Coat, Topshop; Pink Pointy Flats, Miu Miu; Checker Prints Dress, Marc by Marc Jacobs; Black and Gray Cashmere Sweaters, both from Zara; Leopard Ankle Boots, Prada.

Building Block

Building Block, a multi-medium design company based in Los Angeles. I really like the minimal design of their leather bags and accessories – the utilitarian luxury materials, the clean lines and the structural shapes emphasize the functional use of the leather goods themselves without excess designs. Plus I really like their product shots for the bags – simple yet sophisticated, just like the designs!

One of A Few from Vancouver is the only boutique which carries these amazing leather goods in Canada.
