Coat Check

I have been thinking about writing the best coats since last December, and now some of these styles have been carried forward to the new year as well as the new season. So there are basically four different styles of the coats – the cocoon, the tailored, the menswear inspired and the pop art colourful ones. With these different shapes, of course there are ways to wear them and master the style. With the roomy and comfortable cocoon coats, it is important to play with the silhouette – off set the volume top with skinny pants or pencil skirt. A great pair of heels can elongate your legs and make you look leaner too. For a hip-length tailored coat, you can wear with a cute mini shift dress under to add some feminine touch to it. High heels are a must-have when wearing with the menswear inspired coat. With the bright colour jacket just keep the rest of the outfit simple, you are catching other people’s eyes already!

Hope you all find the perfect coat for the season! ❤

Light as Feathers

Airy, romantic, bouncy feathers are this season’s must-have details. It easily adds up that holiday glamorous to any outfit pieces. If you have a slim body type, go on, you can wear the details on a top or a skirt, the flowy design will add some volume to make you have a fuller body shape. If you have a relatively curvy body type, forget about adding those feathers on the skirt, because it will make you have a rounder bottom half, so a feathery top or jacket will be a better choice. If you think lots of feathers are too much, look for a belt or a pair of heels that have the details, it will still have a bouncy movement without too much attention. Please, please avoid wearing a head-to-toe feather outfit, unless you want to look like a Christmas turkey. 😛

I hope you find the perfect feathery piece for your wardrobe! ❤

Beyond Snowdome

Eyes details are BIG this season after Kenzo introduced its eyes collection. In this winter, MCM announced its second collaboration collection with visual art whiz Craig & Karl, entitled Beyond Snowdome.

Winter Nails

Winter has arrived officially, brrrr… and I am feeling some winter nail colours on my finger tips too.

Bright Like Sunshine

I know I know the weather is grey and cold outside, and everyone is bundled up with dark jackets. There are never rules saying you have to wear grey or dark colours for the winter season, so why not putting up something that will brighten up the day and make you feel like sunshine?
